Columbus Day

Back to the dry, hot but humid weather.  Bonnie did some wash today and I dumped the tanks.  Then we headed for the kids house.  We had pork chops, potatoes au gratin, green beans and rolls for supper.  Then we headed home.

Got a text from Stacy and we are going to look at a house on the lake tomorrow and one of the houses we looked at before.  But first we have to be at the kids house so the drywall guy can come and sand the wall before it gets painted.

It poured rain all morning and continued to rain into the afternoon.  We had to be at the kids by noon for the dry wall guy to finish what he was doing.  Then we had appointments at 1:00pm to look at a couple houses.  The first house was on the lake and was beautiful.

But I think it was too big for us to take care of.  Lot of nice features and quality throughout. The price is a little more than I would like to pay also. Then we looked at what we call the firestation house for the second time.  It too is a very nice house but a much better price.  It has been on the market for a while because of its location.

We had Sahlan Hot Dogs and Bushs Baked Beans for supper, a little touch of Western NY.  Then we headed back to the coach.

We spent the whole day at home today.  Bonnie has been cycling the laundry all day and it is still drying the last load for today.  The humidity dropped and the temperature stayed in the high 70s.  So we were able to have the windows open most of the day.  They cut grass here today so it was nice to smell the freshly cut grass and hear the birds and other animals.

I spent a good part of the day learning how to use some of the Google Maps to document our travels.  Here is a link to our 2016 Travels
